Bulk Terminals for Tank Terminal & Blending Services
Third Coast has an extensive terminal and blending operation
that comprised more than 50 bulk tanks with combined capacities
of over 1,000,000 gallons and covered operations of 10,000 square
feet. In conjunction with storage tanks ranging from capacities
of 1000 to 50,000 gallons, we also have 13 blend tanks for contract
manufacturing from 1000 to 30,000 gallons. Blend tanks are set
up according to customer request with primary control measure
being load cells for exact accuracy. Tank construction includes
an assortment of carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel and
food grade lined tanks for the manufacturing of industrial and
FDA/USP/Kosher approved products. All bulk tanks have auto gauging,
steam coils, nitrogen purge/blanketing and dedicated pumps.
Multi-Product Bulk Terminals
We have an extensive utility network through out the plant
which includes high/low pressure natural gas, low/high pressure
steam, dry air, nitrogen, DI/RO water, city sewer and water
and 3 phase 480 volt electric. The electrical for the bulk terminals
tank farm and outside operations area is classified as "Class
1, Division 2" for hazardous location thereby enabling
us to handle a full spectrum of Petrochemicals. A certified
truck scale is on site for the weighing of all inbound and outbound
bulk and dry freight shipments.
